it is raining buckets today. i am soaked to the bone and thanking my lucky stars that i purchased keens and chacos. i never thought i would write that in my life. still haven't found a mousquito net and i have several bites so far. i know that i'm going to get malaria - duh - i was just hoping i wouldn't get it in the five minute i'm here. sleeping last night was the worst yet. it stormed so hard and the power was in/out so the loud fan would shut off/on and wake me up. functioning on 5ish hours a night is starting to wear me down. hopefully a nap is in my near future.
after dance class tonight we are hitting the clubs in accra (weather pending, i'm sure). i can't wait to end the summer camp orientation and be a grown-up again -- though the information from all the lectures and group activities will prove to be invaluable for sure.
