employed!

after months of scouring the public health job market i finally landed a job at Glide Health Services. i just finished day 2! aside from a gnarly flu, i am pleasantly exhausted and fulfilled. i run around all day triaging and rooming patients for the creme de la creme community health nurse practitioners. i will learn all about diabetes because i work primarily with the diabetes specialist NP and coordinate her patients. thankfully, i have hot smart friends in the MEPN program that can't wait to shower their diabetes brilliance on me. i'm going to rock this job.

though stevie the wonder pup is disappointed i'm no longer at her beck and call, i'm proud to report she is turning out to be quite a lovely young lady. she is enrolled in SF Puppy Prep's doggie daycare and just graduated kindergarten. we start jr. high on saturday. go ahead, laugh it up.
